MAA Connect

Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 22, 2026

Who operates MAA Connect

MAA Connect is operated by Lexbran Group LLC for the Orange County Ques chapter community. It is a private chapter operations portal limited to roster Brothers. This policy explains what information the service collects, why it is collected, and how it is protected.

Information we collect

  • Account and profile data, including name, nickname or line name, and sign-in credentials managed by our authentication provider.
  • Membership number and chapter, office, committee, and membership status information.
  • Contact details, including email address and mobile number.
  • Home address.
  • Profile photo.
  • Event RSVPs and attendance records.
  • Financial standing and status only. Payment account details, card numbers, and bank information are not collected or displayed.
  • Spouse, partner, child, and family information voluntarily supplied by the member.
  • Birthdates and anniversary dates.
  • Potential new member and reclamation records, restricted to authorized officers.
  • Notification preferences and SMS consent records, including the date, source, and disclosure version of each opt-in or opt-out.

How we use information

Information is used to operate the private chapter portal, administer membership, manage events and attendance, deliver chapter communications, maintain security, provide member support, and meet legal and compliance obligations.

Who can see member information

Access is role-based. Members control field-level privacy for household, contact, and family information. Sensitive member and family information is never public and is not available to anyone outside the authorized chapter workspace. Officers see only the information their role requires.

Phone numbers and SMS consent records

When a member opts in to text messages, we store the mobile number, the consent choice, the date and time in UTC, the source of the consent, and the version and text of the disclosure shown at that moment. Opt-outs are recorded the same way. Consent is captured only through the member's own signed-in profile or the public SMS Consent page; no one can opt a member in on their behalf.

Mobile information, phone numbers, and SMS consent records are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Information may be shared only with service providers needed to operate the service, including Supabase (database and authentication hosting), Resend (email delivery), and Twilio (text message delivery), subject to appropriate contractual and technical safeguards.

Texting consent is optional and is not a condition of membership. You may withdraw it at any time by turning SMS notifications off in your profile or by replying STOP to any message. Withdrawal is recorded and takes effect immediately.

Security and retention

Data is stored with access controls, encrypted transport, and row-level security so that each request returns only the records the signed-in member is permitted to see. Records are retained while the account is active and for as long as needed for chapter administration, recordkeeping, and legal compliance. Consent records are retained as proof of opt-in and opt-out history.

Your access and correction rights

Members may review and correct their own profile information at any time in the app. To request a copy, correction, or deletion of your information, contact admin@maaconnect.org.
